Good morning and hello again, fellow readers! Just so you know I had been so busy lately until I didn't have the time the time to write in my blog, and I know I have been away so long like a couple of years or so, which was because I had graduated from high school (yeay!). I had received my Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/SPM results last month and well, I got it with flying colours for sure. I had been holiday-ing for quite some time now so right now, I want to share a few tits and bits of my 6-month holiday.
After my last paper on the 29th November 2016 which was Chemistry, damn it was a heck of a joy when I finally finished my last school battle (well, most of us). It felt like it was a blink of eye that I had my last day being called as a high school student and the last day I wore my school uniform. Anyhow, I was thrilled for my 3-day trip plan with my closest friends to Kuching (yup just us, no parents). A few days later, the moment arrived and yes, it was hectic for sure. Lots of ups and downs during that trip but I created lots of memories especially with my partner-in-crime (he was the best!) Overall, nothing is more special to kick back and relax after a 10-day nerve wrecking, heart stopping, brain storming exam week.
After the trip, tons of activities awaited. I went for a Christmas parade which was an annual event from the local churches where we gather in a stadium, singing and listening to preaches, then walked around town with candles being held to share the spirit of Christmas. My partner-in-crime and my brother accompanied me at that moment. It was a blast (oh, we even ate dinner at the best restaurant in town late at night haha).
I even got my driving licence too during this holiday. You wouldn't have imagine how intense during the test because if you fail, you have to repeat it and pay more! Luckily I passed the test and I was relieved that I didn't blackout or hitting the side beams or stop the engine or even worst, did nothing at all! Now, I had aced everything and to be honest, I didn't ace in wholly even though I passed because I was trying to find my comfort zone using my parents' car since it is totally different from my tutor's car. I hitted a side beam and made the car's tyre rim ugly a little, stopped the engine abruptly when I stopped at a junction, almost hitted a motorcyclist (that was his fault though) and even almost reversed at a steepy hill. Everything was intense but now I get the hang of it and pretty sure, I almost nailed it!
Apart from that, I celebrated my 18th birthday with my fellow friends at the same restaurant I was talking about (hey, the food there are so divine). I thought it was me and my partner-in-crime but when I stepped in, it was a birthday surprise, and some of my closest friends showed up! Sneaky PIC (partner-in-crime). It was a heck of a fun that we had a karaoke session that night and it was my first time! So, guys, thank you so much especially PIC. I love you so damn much!
Oh, recently I had my interview from Majlis Amanah Rakyat/MARA regarding the scholarship I chose. To be honest, it was freaking intense because there were 7 candidates on my batch and they were from prestigious schools and colleges while me, from a local public school. Nevertheless to say, it was a very competitive situation but I did make some new friends. Regarding the interview, there were 4 sessions altogether: firstly, group work and we were asked to build a product from 8 items for 20 minutes and present it at 2 minutes, we made a kitten shelter, how odd! Secondly, we were interviewed through our values like how do we described MARA, why did you choose MARA over other scholarships, why did you choose medical and why you chose local/oversea courses. I think mine was excellent even though I couldn't outstand the others with my English accent compared to them since they used it as their mother tongue but anyhow, just keep your fingers crossed because I really want to have this scholarship. Wish me luck, peeps.
Well, that was an overall of my 6-month holiday and it is already April now so I practically have 1 more month to celebrate my holiday before I further my studies to university level. Please stay tuned about my next update, to who ever you are out there, keep it calm and cool always. Next update: my PIC ;)
